The speaker is Professor Andrew Greene, Director of The National Centre for Medical Genetics, Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children and Professor of Medical Genetics at University College Dublin.Professor Green will discuss the myths and realities about modern genetics as it is applied to medicine. He hopes to show that the topic is more complex than might first appear, and that there are many implications which might arise from genetic tests in relation to insurance, employment and family communications.
