8:00pm, Wed, 20 Mar 2013
Davenport Hotel, Merrion Square, Dublin 2

Professor Ian Robertson, School of Psychology and Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience

Cognitive Reserve refers to a set of variables including education level, intelligence, social engagement and other forms of mental stimulation which facilitate more effective brain functioning in the face of biological challenges such as Alzheimer’s disease and other age-related conditions.

Professor Robertson will examine the relationship between real life performance and brain pathology and will present a theoretical model which describes how these two systems interact.
